mike hall (1961-)
Mike Hall is a software engineer and video artist with a studio in the Fort Point neighborhood of Boston. His work involves the programmatic synthesis of light and sound, and he has most recently specialized in the expressive potential of projected video feedback. Since 2002 he has produced short video documentaries on civil disobedience and interventionist performance art, and since 2003 has been a regular contributor to the Somerville Producer's Group, which broadcasts live cable access programming on a biweekly basis. He contributed to the creation and initial operation of Art Interactive, a new media exhibition space in Cambridge Massachusetts, and has been involved in the installation of technological art in galleries and museums in Boston and New York, often developing new ways to present interactive works.
